And who else should be involved with the project but no other than those who are already making parodies of the franchise.

Seth Green and Matthew Seinreich, creators of Robot Chicken, will be involved in the series that will try to focus the lightsaber-swinging characters in a different perspective.

“The ‘Star Wars’ universe is so dense and rich; it’s crazy to think that there aren’t normal, mundane everyday problems in a world so well-defined,” Green expressed. “What do these characters do when they’re not overthrowing empires?”

Brendan Hay will write the scripts, Jennifer Hill will produce while Todd Grimes will direct.

The network that will broadcast the series and the airing date has not been announced yet. However, Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series, which is already on its second season is airing in Cartoon Network.
