Starbucks Logo Evolution

A lot of Starbucks customers are outraged at the Seattle-based company’s decision to launch a new logo, which drops both the name ‘Starbucks’ and the word ‘coffee’. The new design still features the image of a twin-tailed siren on a green background, but without text or border. The new logo would appear on paper products like cups and napkins in the United States in March.

Okay, I get it. Why drink tea out of a cup that says “coffee?” But blogger Bex Schwartz has a more cognitive explanation.
