Stocking-shaped blood packs

This Christmas why not give something that will really make a difference?

Designer Kiseung Lee wants people to roll up their sleeves to help save someone’s life – a child with leukemia, a mother during childbirth, or someone involved in a car crash. His conceptual stocking-shaped blood packs were on show as part of Helsinki Design Week in September, although they were filled with red pigment rather than actual blood.

A blood donation is the perfect gift. It’s noble, painless, and costs nothing but a little time. To find out where you can donate, visit your local Red Cross website.
