Susan Boyle sings live on ‘Early Show’ (Video)
Dressed in a simple white dress, Scottish instant-singing-sensation Susan Boyle sang an a capella version of “I Dreamed a Dream” via satellite from her hometown of Blackburn, Scotland.
The 47-year-old singer has gone from obscurity to worldwide fame in less than a week after her incredible “Britain’s Got Talent” debut.
Meanwhile, the Daily Record has uncovered Susan’s first recording back in 1999, when she sang blues ballad “Cry Me A River” for a charity CD.
According to the Scottish newspaper, only 1000 copies of the long-forgotten recording were ever produced.
“The whole world would have wanted to find this,” a showbiz insider said. “People will be scrambling to get their hands on this CD. They will be like gold dust soon.”
You can listen to her version of the song here. Her voice is truly extraordinary.
Susan has also been offered the chance to be a guest on the Oprah Winfrey show, according to reports.
