Manny Pacquiao (48-3-2, 36 KOs), boxing’s pound-for-pound king and Philippine’s boxing hero will clash against England’s very own Ricky Hatton (45-1, 32 KOs) at Las Vegas, Nevada on May 2nd.

Sports channel HBO will once again release a series of documentary focusing on the training of Manny Pacquio and Ricky Hatton for their upcoming fight on May 2.

Roy Jones Jr. won the North American Boxing Association’s vacant light heavyweight title with a convincing victory over Omar Sheika in his hometown Pensacola, Florida. Jones never knocked Sheika down, but the 40 year-old fighter he so out-classed him that in the fifth round.

The fight between Roy Jones Jr. and Omar Sheika will take place at Pensacola Civic Center in Pensacola, Florida, today. The 2 boxing warriors will be fighting in a 12 round match for the Light Heavyweight Division.

The fight coined as “Coming of Age,” will be aired Saturday March 14, 2009 4PM ET / 1PM PT at The M.E.N. Arena in Manchester, UK.

Tomasz Adamek (36-1, 24 KOs), who weighed 199 pounds defended his IBF cruiserweight belt against Johnathon Banks (20-0, 14 KOs) who weighed the division-limit 200 pounds in an astonishing KO!
