T-Mobile on Wednesday officially launched its second Google Android phone, the myTouch 3G, to compete against AT&T’s iPhone.

An iPhone 3GS Jailbreak was made available by GeoHot ahead of Dev-Team. George Hotz’s 3GS jailbreak is only for Windows (but not Windows 7) with Mac version coming out shortly. The software could jailbreak your phone but doesn’t unlock it for other networks.

Apparently, Apple’s shortages for the new iPhone 3GS model is all over the map.

In hopes of competing against rising market demand for the iPhone and iPod, Nikkei business daily reports that Sony had actually been working on a gadget that combines the functionality of a mobile phone, along with the functionalities of a gaming peripheral, much like the Playstation Portable.
