Teen Choice Awards 2010: “Eclipse” Leads with 17 Nominations

the-twilight-saga-eclipseThe Twilight Saga: Eclipse” is threatening to romp away with the most trophies when the Teen Choice Awards 2010 take place on August 9. “Eclipse” has the most nominations with 17 followed by Miley Cyrus and comedy-musical “Glee” with 13 each, organizers of the awards show announced on Monday.

Competing with “Eclipse” in the Choice Summer Movie category are “The A-Team,” “Despicable Me,” “Grown Ups,” “The Karate Kid,” “Knight and Day,” “The Last Airbender,” “Inception,” “Salt,” and “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.” Taylor Lautner, who was 11 nominations to his name, is up against “Eclipse” co-star Robert Pattinson, Adam Sandler, Zac Efron, and Jaden Smith for the Male Movie star race.

Kristen Stewart is ranged against veterans Angelina Jolie and Cameron Diaz, as well as fellow youngsters Emma Roberts and Selena Gomez in the Female lead category.

Among those who will present the awards on the Katy Perry-hosted show are the Kardashian sisters, David Archuleta, and John Cena, among others.

Voting is open to all fans aged 13 to 19 years old. Eligible fans can vote once a day by visiting the awards show’s official Web site.
