Jose Feliciano, the Puerto Rican-born artist who composed “Feliz Navidad” is outraged that the theme from his holiday song was used for a musical spoof about undocumented immigrants.
The track, titled “The Illegal Alien Christmas Song,” was produced, by Talk Radio Network’s Matt Fox and AJ Rice’s “The Fox and Rice Experience.” It was posted this weekend in a podcast format at a right wing website called HumanEvents.com.
The lyrics depict “illegal” immigrants as disease-spreading criminals who drive drunk. They are also portrayed as carriers and spreaders of deadly diseases like the bubonic plague and tuberculosis.

Tell your government and corporations to stop requesting our labor, in 1942 the U.S. begs Mexico for laborers through the Bracero Program. In 1943 they pass Public Law 45 requesting laborers. The government minimizes funds to border patrol so that more workers can come in. Corporations line up at the border offering jobs. This legally continues until 1965. Once again in the 70s. And they continue to hire us, but not legally lol.
