Microsoft posted some screenshots of what the browser choice screen for European Windows users would look like. The software giant said it will offer the “Web browser choice” screen to Internet Explorer users in Europe, as required by the European Commission, over the next few weeks.

The browser choice screen will be presented to users with the five major browsers to date in random order (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer 8, and Opera) but additional browsers can be seen when users scroll to the right of the window, which are also presented in random order.

Three options will also be provided: You can choose to either click to “Install”, “Tell me more”, and “Select Later”.

Microsoft will begin the limited roll-out externally by next week for UK, Belgium and France, while the full scale release will begin around March 1. It will be offered as an automatic download through Windows Update.
