“The Situation” Eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars”

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has successfully predicted his fate after he became the latest celebrity contestant to get the boot on “Dancing with the Stars.”

Sorrentino, who, in frustration, said Monday that he was “done with this” after the judges fanned his tango with professional partner Karina Smirnoff, now joins the ranks of David Hasselhoff, Michael Bolton, and Margaret Cho, who were eliminated in the earlier episodes. “I told myself if I got eliminated today, I put it all on the floor last night,” Sorrentino said on Tuesday.

“The Situation” and Smirnoff were in last place coming into Tuesday’s elimination night. Head judge Len Goodman criticized Sorrentino and Smirnoff’s performance, describing it as consistently bad. “It was consistent, it was bad throughout,” Goodman said.

Sorrentino did not take the criticism well, and fired back at the judges for failing to give him credit for his effort. “The judges were so unpositive and didn’t even see the work I put in, didn’t even see the progress I made this week,” he said.
