Kim Cattrall, who plays Samantha Jones in Sex And The City, says the producers will make another flick.

She made the revelation while talking to former Spice Girl Mel B on UK based The Paul O’Grady show. Sex and the City will return to the big screen with a sequel due to be shot for release next year or 2011.

After the film’s $57 million opening weekend, Sex And The City: The Movie sold 920,000 DVDs in its opening week. I think a sequel would be a great idea but just like the first movie, they should wait a couple of years and then do it as a follow up into their lives.

As a follower of the show I know I’ll be shelling out cash to see what happens to the girls. Will you?
