‘True Blood’ Cast Goes Naked in ‘Rolling Stone’

rolling_stone_true_bloodAdding to the already sexy and violent season of True Blood, its cast bare all (well, almost) in this week’s issue of Rolling Stone magazine.

Anna Paquin (who plays Sookie), Stephen Moyer (who plays Bill) and Alexander Skaarsgard (who plays Eric) of the television series posed naked, complete with blood, in the cover of the magazine.

“To me, vampires are sex,” said Alan Ball, creator of the show. “I don’t get a vampire story about abstinence. I’m 53. I don’t care about high school students. I find them irritating and uninformed.” (Paging Stephanie Meyer)

Moyer, who is engaged to Paquin, who in turn is a confirmed bisexual, has this to say about the popularity of vampires nowadays, “If we go from a base level, vampires create a hole in the neck where there wasn’t one before. It’s a de-virginization…creating blood and then drinking the virginal blood. And there’s something sharp, the fang, which is probing and penetrating and moving into it. So that’s pretty sexy.”

He ended up saying, “Plus, Robert Pattinson is just hot, right?”

True Blood, which is based from The Southern Vampires Mysteries novel series by Charlaine Harris, is currently on its third season at HBO. A fourth season has been green lit.
