As a mother, this would be a perfect opportunity to express concerns, ask questions and talk about drugs with my kids. Any parent who just says “OMG what a horrible person, you will not see her movies anymore or anything” is dumb and is leaving their children unaware of the fact that this is out there. Yes, smoking pot is illegal, but pretty much everyone has tried it at least once. I did back in high school and never did it again. So why is smoking cigarettes ok, but pot isnt? Cigarettes are actually worse for you considering its made with rat posion or whatever other chemicals may be in it. Maybe KS has a card for pot and its not illegal or maybe not but no one knows this situation so who really cares. No I'm not supporting smoking pot but denying its out there isnt going to make it go away. Also, as far as the public thing goes, no she shouldnt be doing it in public but that goes along with a lot of things now days. There had to be a law allowing a mother to breastfeed her baby in public. Smoking cigarettes has to be 10 feet away from small businesses and 20 ft for large businesses. And if you want to get technical, she is still on her property.. Thatd be like having sex with the windows or blinds open.. If you dont want to see it, dont look. Youd still be in your house and you wouldnt be doing anything wrong, it would just be more public.

If you wanna hate on her, do it. No ones stopping you. But no one is stopping her either from being herself.. It wouldnt be an issue if she wasnt famous so why now just cause shes a “role model” So is Miley Cyrus and shes dating an 18 year old underwear model. Better watch out, all the 11 year olds are gonna go date 18 year old underwear models now. Just cause someone in the public does it doesnt mean that everyone else will.

I say big freakin' deal like half the damn world doesn't do it themselves not to mention Im sure everybody who has smoked weed has done somewhere, where people saw whether we knew it or not. Okay so yeah she is a celb. but does that mean she isn't intitled to making mistakes just like you or I. Lets just all be glad it was weed she was smoking and not something much much worse.

FYI; First of all Smoking cigarettes gives you cancer…drinking alcohol excessively may lead you to a life of dialysis and or killing someone while on the road..yet they are legal?! MArijuana is given to cancer patients hello! yeah so it kills brain cells so what ..you think
MJ is the only thing that kills brains cells? heck most legal drugs are bad for you yet its given to children all the time….First of all Kristen has no children of her own,second as SHAN_LEE states ” I doubt she ever signed up to be a ROle model…3rd MJ is PRETTY close to being legalized so back off!!!!! Granted, puffing in public may not be the smartest thing to do but I sincerely doubt she's ever asked to be “a role model to so many girls all over the world!!”. She's an actress: she did her job – It's as simple as that and if she does want to smoke, who are you to judge?

Actually, alot of people DO drugs. I’m not saying everyone does, but quit living under a rock and grow up. No intelligent person calls someone “flipping mental”. How the hell can we defend her? Because we’re obviously older than you and we shit our pants over the sight of drugs. You’ve never smoked weed, but I can tell you it does not ruin your life, UNLESS you let it, so calm the hell down. All of you pitching a fit about it obviously think you’re too superior to stoop down to smoking weed because you’ll just die if you even smoke it once; we get it. Just lay off the girl, unless you’d like another Britney Spears. Obviously no one gives a damn if it’s illegal, considering the majority of people 21 and over have done it or been around it. No one cares if she’s a role model. She’s not MY role model, although I think it’s amazing that she has the guts to not conform into the typical hollywood role of being overly happy, always fashionable 24/7 like you people apparently think she should so she can be SUCH a good role model. In fact, I can’t name ONE person I know of who considers her a role model or “aspires” to be like her…but that’s probably too big of a word for you.
She did it in the open cause she thought people actually had lives besides lurking around corners taking pictures of her? Damn, that’s a hard one to figure out.
