U.N. reveals the drug crime capital of the world

UN Drug Crime Capital

It’s not Mexico, Colombia or Bolivia. It’s Scotland baby!

Yes, I’ve seen Trainspotting (that movie starring Ewan McGregor with lots of F-words and thick accents), but I never thought that Scotland would one day become the drug crime capital of the world.

A United Nations study found drug users and dealers commit proportionately more offenses in this country than any other.

Scotland was top with 656 drug offences per 100,000 – followed by Iran with 619, Spain (573) and the United States (497).
