UEFA Champions League: Chelsea vs. FC Porto


Premier League leaders Chelsea travel to Estadio de Dragao to face FC Porto in Group D with both sides safe in the knowledge that they will be in the draw for the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

Because of this, Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is expected to rest several of his first-team regulars for tonight’s fixture.

Assuming they avoid defeat tonight against the Dragoes, the Blues will be in pole position to finish top of Group D in the tournament.

Both teams are reeling from injuries. Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba, and Michael Ballack remain in doubt, while Christian Rodriguez may also be watching from the behind the bench.

The match kicks-off at 20:45 CET.

UPDATE: A second-half goal from Nicolas Anelka gave Chelsea a 1-0 victory against Porto and ensured the Blues will finish top of Group D.
