UEFA Champions League: Manchester United vs. AC Milan (2nd Leg)

Manchester United vs AC Milan Live Stream UEFA Champions LeagueManchester United vs. AC Milan Live Stream (2nd Leg): David Beckham returns to Old Trafford this evening (20:45 CET) as he looks to help AC Milan overturn a 3-2 deficit in the UEFA Champions League.

It will be Beckham’s first appearance at Manchester United since he was sold by Sir Alex Ferguson to Real Madrid seven years ago. The 34-year-old midfielder was one of those players who helped the club win the 1999 Champions League along with six Premier League titles and two FA Cups.

“To win at Old Trafford is a really big task, said the former England captain. “But I love the prospect of big challenges and if I’m given the chance to play and prove what I can still do then that would be a great test for me and the team.”

Beckham is on loan at Milan from Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Galaxy until the end of the season. In the first leg of their last 16 tie, Brazilian star Ronaldinho gave the Rossoneri an early lead, but a goal from Paul Scholes put the Red Devils level before Wayne Rooney scored twice in the second period. Clarence Seedorf halved the deficit late on.

Should United make the quarter-final, it will be the fourth consecutive time they’ve got that far, while the Italians giants’ last Champions League run ended at this stage during the 2007-08 season when the Gunners knocked them out.

Meanwhile Rooney has been passed fit to face Milan after training with his teammates this morning. The 24-year-old striker was a doubt after missing the 1-0 victory at Wolverhampton with a knee injury but Ferguson said he will play tonight.

Manchester United FC overwhelm AC Milan 4-0 to confirm their UEFA Champions League quarter-final spot.
