UEFA Champions League Manchester United vs Valencia Live Stream

Manchester United vs. Valencia Live Stream: Sir Alex Ferguson is expected to field a strong side against Valencia this evening (20:45 CET) in order to seal top spot in Group C. The Red Devils have already reached the next round of the Champions League but the 68-year-old Scottish manager would like to maintain their position at the top of their cluster in order to avoid the likes of Real Madrid, FC Barcelona or Bayern Munich in the last 16. Teams who finish first place will be drawn against group runners-up in the knockout stages.

United are yet to concede a goal in the competition and they lead the group with 13 points. Completing a whole group stage without conceding would represent a new record for the Red Devils. However, the Spanish giants could snatch top spot if they grab an astounding win at Old Trafford, and Valencia boss Unai Emery believes doing so would “send out a warning” to the rest of Europe.

Meanwhile, Ferguson says Owen Hargreaves has been sent to Germany to receive treatment for a hamstring problem. The 29-year-old defensive midfielder tore his hamstring against Wolverhampton last month and hasn’t played since. Hargreaves signed from Bayern Munich in May 2007 and his contract with the Old Trafford club will expire at the end of this season.
