Uncharted 2 named Game of the Year in Spike Video Game Awards

The Playstation 3 game Uncharted 2: Among Thieves reigned supreme after being named Game of the Year in the 2009 Video Game Awards of Spike TV. It was also named Best PS3 Game and Best Graphics.
The game defeated the now highest entertainment launch Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and favorite Assassins Creed II. However, Warfare won Best Shooter Game and Creed was named Best Action Adventure Game.
Dragon Age: Origins was named Best RPG while God of War III is the Most Anticipated Game of 2010.
Gracing the awards show is Jake Gyllenhaal who plays the prince in the upcoming video-game-based film Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. He presented a teaser trailer of the next installment Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. Zachary Quinto of Heroes and Star Trek announced his being a voice actor in Star Trek Online
