So its official, Manchester United have decided to sell Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid for a world record $130 million, the club said on Thursday.
A statement on United’s website revealed that they have agreed to a request from the World Player of the Year to speak to Real about a transfer and expect the deal to be completed by June 30.
Are you surprised by the news?
Yes, a lot of United fans will be devastated to be losing Ronaldo. But I’m also certain that many Arsenal supporters will be delighted by this, knowing they will no longer see the 24-year-old Portuguese dive or cry.
Can’t wait to see Kaka and Ronaldo playing together for Madrid!
