Danny Gans, also known as the “Man of Many Voices,” died unexpectedly early this morning at his home in Las Vegas. He was 52.

The cause of death is not yet known, but TMZ reports that a family member called 911 at 3:44 a.m. to report that he was having trouble breathing. By the time medics arrived, he was already dead.

Danny was a singer, comedian, actor and impressionist. He had received several awards, including being named “Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year.” He also acted in film and television, notably as Roger in the series Silk Stalkings and portraying Dean Martin in the 1992 CBS miniseries Sinatra.

Besides being a gifted entertainer, Danny was also good in baseball. He was drafted by the Kansas City Royals out of high school and played in the minor league.

He is survived by his wife Julie and his children, Amy, Andrew and Emily.
