Verizon iPhone arrives February 10
It’s official! The Verizon iPhone is finally arriving on February 10, 2011. It’s pretty much the same as the AT&T iPhone with just a little tweak.
Beginning February 10, the phone that changed everything will be available on both AT&T and Verizon Wireless in the United States. Qualified Verizon Wireless customers will also have the exclusive opportunity to pre-order iPhone 4 online on February 3, ahead of general availability. [Apple]
The Verizon iPhone has a new antenna design and will have a Wi-Fi hotspot capability. It means that the phone, with the help of an application, could act as a hotspot that would allow up to five other computers or phones to connect to the internet.
A 16GB version will be available for $200 with a minimum of two-year Verizon contract while it will cost you $300 for the same contract for a 32GB version. No pricing announced for the off-contract Verizon iPhone yet.
