Video: Man dining on a Heart Attack Grill burger suffers apparent heart attack
A customer at the Heart Attack Grill in downtown Las Vegas was hospitalized Saturday night after apparently suffering a heart attack.
Restaurant owner Jon Basso said he originally thought the incident was a joke when one of his “nurses” told him a man eating a “Triple Bypass Burger” was experiencing chest pains.
“The gentleman could barely talk,” Basso said. “He was sweating, suffering. Anyone with an ounce of compassion would’ve felt for him.”
The customer was taken to a hospital by paramedics. Basso, who declined to reveal the identity of the man, said he is recuperating.
