Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade Live Stream

Macy’s Parade Live Stream: Thousands of spectators are expected to attend the 84th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in the streets of New York which will feature talented marching bands, unique floats, giant character balloons, hundreds of cheering clowns and a host of live entertainers and celebrities including Jessica Simpson, Kanye West, Kylie Minogue and many more.

The tradition, which started in 1924, was created by Macy’s employees who were immigrants from Europe and wanted to celebrate Thanksgiving with festivities they had known in their native countries. It was suspended from 1942 to 1944 because rubber and helium were needed for World war II.

This year’s three-hour parade will take place 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time at 77th Street and travels south along the edge of Central Park before turning onto Times Square and go all the way to 34th Street via 6th Avenue.

New floats and character balloons will join the event, which is seen by millions of people across the United States who tune into NBC to watch the live broadcast. But if you don’t have access to TV at the moment, you can still watch the festivities live online (free live stream) HERE.
