4th of July Celebrations and Fireworks Live Stream Online

The Americans are today celebrating their Independence Day, a celebration commonly associated with fireworks, concerts, parades, and various merriment.

In New York City, thousands of fireworks will be ignited on floating barge. NBC will carry the Macy’s Fourth of July pyrotechnic display, featuring performances from Katy Petty, Jennifer Hudson, James Taylor, Brad Paisley and Beyonce.

However, the event from the Capitol grounds in Washington, D.C. is still the perennial favorite. President Barack Obama will host a barbecue at the White House, while 100 new citizens will be sworn-in at Mount Vernon, at the home of George Washington, the first president of the United States.

Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, the world’s most renowned hot dog devouring race, will air on ESPN. CBS, meanwhile, will carry the Boston Pops Fireworks, hosted by Michael Chiklis with musical assists by Lionel Richie, Norm Lewis and, of course, the Boston Pops.
