Penguins vs. Red Wings Game 2 Stanley Cup finals
The Pittsburgh Penguins and the Detroit Red Wings will be back on the ice tonight for Game 2 of the Stanley Cup finals.
Red Wings coach Mike Babcock said earlier he won’t make any lineup changes for tonight’s game, meaning Pavel Datsyuk will miss his fifth consecutive game with a foot injury.
The M.V.P. finalist was limping badly as he walked through a crowd of well-wishers in the dressing-room corridors after Detroit won Saturday’s game.
Centre Kris Draper is also expected to miss the game with a groin problem. He took part in Sunday morning’s optional skate, but Datsyuk did not.
The game starts at 8:00 p.m. ET.
UPDATE: The Detroit Red Wings won for the second night in a row, 3-1, to take a two games to none lead over the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Stanley Cup finals on Sunday night.
