Watch the 2010 Golden Globes Live Online

2010 Golden Globes Live Stream: A lot of celebrities are expected at the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards tonight, and British actor Ricky Gervais is set to make Hollywood history as he hosts the first ever Golden Globes to be screened live.

Yes , that chubby, sarcastic guy from The Office is hosting the show. He had a pretty good job in the past two Emmys so basically that’s why he got the gig.

We’re sure a lot of you are pretty excited to find out if Sci-Fi blockbuster Avatar will edge out Lee Daniels’ Precious for Best Drama or if George Clooney will finally get that much-coveted Best Actor trophy.

The race for Best Director appears to be a spar between James Cameron (Avatar) and The Hurt Locker‘s Kathryn Bigelow, although Clint Eastwood (Invictus), Jason Reitman (Up in the Air) and Quentin Tarantino (Inglourious Basterds) are substantial contenders.

The Golden Globes are given by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and have become a good indicator of which films will do well at the Oscars, scheduled for March 7.

And yes, this ceremony certainly has a different vibe than most awards shows, since everyone’s drunk and no one takes the voters seriously.

So, who do you think will win?

You can watch the 2010 Golden Globe Awards starting at 5 p.m. PST, 8 p.m. EST on NBC. But if you don’t have access to television, you can check out the live stream below.
