Will Smith would be movie fans’ top pick to play Barack Obama in his biopic, according to a new survey.

The actor topped the poll by Virgin Media asking who would be most likely to play Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama in the big screen about his life.

Will Smith acquired the highest votes in the survey. Denzel Washington came second while Gary Coleman and Jamie Foxx tied for the third spot.

Will Smith has played Muhammad Ali, the last person on earth and a boozy superhero so why not play Obama?

The senator also admitted that if a movie based on his life were ever made, he’d want Will Smith to play him. Who wouldn’t want Smith to play them in a film? I’d want Smith to play me too … and I’m not even black!
