Harry Potter theme park

Are you a Harry Potter fan?

Ever dreamed of going inside the huge and mysterious Hogwarts castle? Did you fantasize about having your own magical encounters with the Whomping Willow, the Hungarian Horntail, and even Dementors?

The month of June spells a great treat for the fans of Harry Potter books as Universal Orlando announced that it will open the “Wizarding World of Harry Potter” on the 18th. The company has already started to sell vacation packages starting at $645 per adult and $1,548 for a family of four. The package includes hotel accommodation, park tickets, and other amenities.

Flying with the concept that the wizarding world has been finally revealed, the guests of the theme park can visit the village of Hogsmeade and have their very first sip of butterbeer at the wizarding pub called Three Broomsticks. The theme park will also give guests a tour of the famous spots in the book like Dumbledor’s office and the Griffindor common room.

The thrilling rides featured in the park include the Dragon Challenge, where guests can relive the Triwizard Tournament event. There is also the Flight of the Hippogriff where guests can take lessons at Hagrid’s hut.

Before going home, guests can also shop for magical items at Dervish and Banges and see first-hand the colorful and eye-popping candy of Honeydukes.

The Harry Potter seven part book series was authored by the award-winning writer J.K. Rowling and has sold over 400 million copies worldwide. The book’s popularity also earned a seven-part movie deal.
