IBO, IBF, and WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko has reportedly reached a deal to stake his titles against WBA ruler David Haye. Klitschko manager Bernd Boente told ESPN on Sunday that only the signatures are lacking to make the match official. “It’s 99 percent,” Boente said. “This week it will be finally signed and also announced.”

Both fighters also confirmed the closing of the deal in separate interviews. “I am really pleased that we have closed a deal on this fight,” said Klitschko, whose brother, Vitali, holds the WBC heavyweight title. Haye, on the other hand, said that both camps have agreed to a 50-50 split in the fight purse, adding that the match could be held late June or early July.

As for the venue of the fight, Boente said that Germany, where Klitschko is popular, is likely to host the match. ” It could be one of three different stadiums in Germany,” Boente said.
