World of Warcraft will have its live action movie adaptation and reports confirm that Sam Raimi will be directing the movie.

Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. and Legendary Pictures announced today that Sam Raimi has signed a contract to direct the movie adaptation based on Blizzard Entertainment’s award-winning Warcraft universe.

Sam Raimi directed the Spider-Man trilogy and will be working on shooting WoW movie after he completes Spider Man 4.

World of Warcraft, often referred to as WoW, is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) by Blizzard Entertainment.
