World Series Game 5: Yankees vs. Phillies (Results)
World Series Game 5

The New York Yankees will look to close out the 2009 World Series tonight (7:57 p.m. ET) against the Philadelphia Phillies, who hope to rally and become the first National League team to repeat as champions since the Cincinnati Reds in 1975-76.
Last night, the Bronx Bombers scored three runs in the ninth inning to beat the Phillies 7-4 and take a 3-1 Series lead.
If the Yankees win, they will get their 27th World Series title. If Philadelphia succeeds, the series will return to the Bronx for Game 6 on Wednesday.
Cliff Lee will be making a return after his omission from Game 4, while New York will once again call on the talents of A.J. Burnett.
UPDATE: Philadelphia scored six runs in the first three innings against Burnett to beat the Yankees 8-6 and extend the World Series.
