Control Your Car Using Your iPhone Like James Bond

Wanna be James Bond? Well, you can imitate him to a certain level using this new iPhone application that turns the smartphone into a remote control. Computer scientists in Germany have created this application together with a self-constructed car to implement this new technology.

From the iPhone application, the remote driver will be able to see what is in front of the car via live feeds transmitted from a video camera on the car. The remote control in turn will be able to send commands to the car via radio.

Both the remote control and car dubbed ‘Spirit of Berlin’ were constructed by the Artificial Intelligence Group at Freie Universität in Germany.

Since this is just a recent invention, this is not available commercially yet of course. But be patient and wait and it will be available to the public in due time.
