$10,000 For Sidney Crosby Olympic Stick and Gloves

Canada and Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby is getting some help to get back the hockey stick and gloves he used to score the gold-medal winning goal in the final match at the recent Vancouver Winter Olympics. Reebok Canada is willing to give $ 10,000 for the return of the equipment that gave Canada the most precious gold medal in this year’s Olympics.

Crosby threw away the stick and gloves to celebrate the Canadians’ victory over the Americans. However, the equipment could no longer be found when team staff started to put the players’ things into their bags. Hockey Canada is investigating the incident. Security officers are also reviewing a video shot after the match. Reebok, on the other hand, has set up an e-mail account where people can forward information that could help trace the equipment.

Reebok Hockey CCM general manager Len Rhodes said the company is doing everything to get Crosby’s gear back, as a way to repay the player for being a loyal endorser of the company.
