Lacey Brown left American Idol on Wednesday as she was voted off from Season Nine’s Top 11. Lacey’s rendition of Rolling Stones’ “Ruby Tuesday” on Tuesday night was forgettable as Idol judge Simon Cowell said.

She could have been saved by the judges because the Judges’ “SAVE” power is again in play this season. She sang “The Story” as her last attempt to impress the judges but it didn’t happen.

“That’s alright. I’m having a blast” Lacey said. “I’m not going to stop singing for my fans because I love to do this. I am excited for the future.”

The top 11 remaining idol contestants will be back next week for a teen-idol themed performance night.
