Manchester United will meet Bayern Munich in the final of the Audi Cup 2009 tonight before flying back home to England to continue their pre-season build-up.

A 2-1 victory against Boca Juniors last night took the Reds’ tally to five wins and 18 goals in five pre-season matches.

Luis Antonio Valencia scored the winning goal last night—delighting Sir Alex Ferguson. However unfair the tag, the 23-year-old Ecuadorian winger will go down as the man who replaced Cristiano Ronaldo—who moved to Real Madrid for a world record £80m fee last month.

The Audi Cup is just a friendly tournament, but for Bayern fans it is a bit more important than any other competition.

Game time is 8:45 p.m. CET (2:45 p.m. ET) at the Allianz Arena.
