Chris Harrison (pictured), host of the long running dating reality game series, The Bachelor/The Bachelorette confirmed that a male producer of the show had an affair with one of the female contestants while they were filming last fall.

The host said to Cleveland radio program Valentine in the Morning Monday that the unnamed producer and the female finalist were asked to leave the show.

Harrison said that they have consulted lawyers, psychologists, producers and executives before talking to the contestant, the other female contestants and Jake Pavelka, the searcher in the latest season which is titled The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love. The decision to immediately inform the affair is out of respect to Pavelka.

It is still not yet confirmed as of this time if the producer and the contestant are still together. Harrison put things on a lighter side by joking if they should count the affair as one of the couples produced by the show.
