“Bones” Star Emily Deschanel Gets Hitched

Emily Deschanel, lead star of the Fox series “Bones,” is officially off the market. Reps for Deschanel confirmed to People.com that the 33-year-old actress married actor-writer David Hornsby on September 25 in Los Angeles.

Only close friends and family of the couple attended the wedding, which was held in the Pacific Palisades area. Among the guests who witnessed the solemn event was Deschanel’s “Bones” co-star David Boreanaz. Deschanel was reportedly decked in matching diamond and platinum hair pins and drop earrings by Neil Lane.

Deschanel plays forensic expert Dr. Temperance Brennan on “Bones,” whose sixth season premiered on September 23. Before bagging the “Bones” role, Deschanel appeared on several shows including “Law & Order: SVU” and “Crossing Jordan.” Her film credits include “Cold Mountain,” “The Alamo,” and last year’s “My Sister’s Keeper.” Hornsby, on the other hand, is best known for his role as defrocked priest Matthew “Rickety Cricket” Mara on the FX comedy “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” which he also co-produces.
