British Airways cabin crew wants Christmas strike

British Airways will be facing a huge loss of their income this December. According to reports, the cabin crew of British Airways are all in favor of the strike action in a dispute over job cuts and changes to staff contracts.

The employees voted by nine to one in favor of the strike action, with more than an 80% turnout. This act would lead to huge disruption for passengers over the Christmas period, the British Airways staff said.

The strike will start on December 22 and will end in January next year.

Len McCluskey, assistant general secretary of the Unite union said,  “It goes without saying that we have taken this decision to disrupt passengers and customers over the Christmas period with a heavy heart.”
