Europa League: Manchester City vs. Juventus Live Stream (Free Online Video)
Manchester City vs. Juventus Live Stream: Roberto Mancini’s Manchester City could top Group A of the Europa League if they beat Italian side Juventus at Stadio Olimpico di Torino. The Citizens are through to the next round whatever happens, so Mancini will use fringe players this evening since captain Carlos Tevez and Mario Balotelli will both miss the game.
Tevez handed in a transfer request last weekend, claiming that his relationship with senior figures at Eastlands had broken down “beyond repair.” Balotelli, meanwhile, was racially abused by Juventus fans last season and fears over the former Inter Milan striker being targeted again for racist offense was the reason behind the decision.
Mancini has named a 19-man squad, a mix of experienced and young players. Brazilian forward Jo Silva is expected to lead City in the absence of Tevez, with Togolese striker Emmanuel Adebayor still out and Paraguay international Roque Santa Cruz ineligible to play.
The Italian White-Blacks are unbeaten in the group, but have suffered from too many draws and will have a very small chance of progressing to the next round. However, expect Luigi Delneri’s side to fight til the end because they wouldn’t want to end their campaign with a home defeat.
The match kicks-off at 19:00 CET.
UPDATE: Jo scored a late equalizer for Manchester City in the 1-1 draw against Juventus in Turin. The Brazilian striker’s second half goal, which cancelled out Niccolo Giannetti’s 43rd-minute strike for the Italian side, ensured that the Citizens claimed the point required to ensure top spot in Group A.
