Everything is topsy-turvy in ‘Shrek Forever After’

Shrek Forever After

Imagine Donkey is a cerebral character, Puss in Boots is an obese kitty cat, Fiona is a hunting ogre, and Rumpelstiltskin is the ruler of Far, Far Away. A bit confusing, right?

In the latest and probably the final installment of “Shrek“, the world goes awry as the large, green, physically intimidating ogre is duped by the evil and manipulative Rumpelstiltskin.

The fourth film starts as Shrek faces a new chapter of his life. With his ‘wild ogre days’ being put to pasture, Shrek lives a serene life with his family. Rumpelstiltskin then takes advantage of the main protagonist’s situation and tricks him into entering a twisted agreement.  After being sent to an alternate reality, he is forced to undo his mistakes and once again save the day.

The film employed the wonderful voice talents of Mike Myers (Shrek), Eddie Murphy (Donkey), Cameron Diaz (Fiona),  and Antonio Banderas (Puss in Boots). The smooth and charming voice of Rumpelstiltskin went to Walt Dohrn.

The movie is set to open on May 2010. You can watch the full trailer below:
