Facebook Announces Top Status Trends of 2009
The website has listed its top status trends of 2009 which features one-to-four word phrases that were found in most status updates in the United States. The list is called Facebook Memology.
Facebook’s number of users exploded in 2009 which is now at 350 million personal accounts. To show how much exchange of words occurs at the website, take a look at the top of the list “facebook applications” which include Farmville. This application alone has 72 million active users per month. That is more than the 60 million users of Twitter.
Google, Yahoo, Microsoft Bing, Twitter and YouTube have previously listed their top searches, hottest trends and most watched videos for 2009.
