Gadgets Galore in Computex 2010

It’s gadgets galore as Computex 2010 opens in Taipei, Taiwan.

Techies, hobbyists and other gadgets fans can satisfy their fancies as Computex 2010 unfurls a parade of netbooks, 3D displays, and a lot of new innovations.

Expected to be hot items this year are tablet computers which are designed to compete with the highly popular Apple iPad. It can be recalled that Acer recently unveiled an Android-based tablet in Beijing, while Asus and MSI are seen to be debuting their own tablets as well, running on Windows 7.

Computex, now on its 30th year, is considered as the largest technology trade show in Asia. This year, Computex will have more than 1700 manufacturers to occupy around 4,600 booths. Extending from Taipei’s World Trade Center to Nangang Exhibition Hall, the trade show is open until June 5.
