Gavin DeGraw Leaves Hospital
Singer Gavin DeGraw was discharged from the Bellevue Hospital on Tuesday, a day after he was attacked in New York City.
DeGraw was reportedly treated for concussions and lacerations, including a broken nose. The injuries were reportedly caused by three men who ganged up on the 34-year-old singer during the early hours of Monday. The “I Don’t Want to Be” singer was reportedly also struck by a taxi as he tried to run away from his attackers.
Police have yet to find any motive for the attack, especially since DeGraw appears to have no recollection of the incident. DeGraw took to Twitter Tuesday afternoon to thank fans and admit that he does not remember much about the incident. “Honestly, I don’t remember much. I only know I can recover from here. Thank u all for your genuine concern. I love u guys,” he said in a tweet.
A report on the incident shows that DeGraw was walking in New York’s East Village around 4 a.m. when he got into an argument with his eventual attackers.
