‘Glee’ returns for Season 2, seeks to cast new members

It’s not surprising but it is definitely a good news for Glee fanatics out there. Fox has announced the renewal of the hit teen musical series and we will be seeing them again for Season 2. The network made the renewal announcement on Monday (Jan. 11) as part of its Television Critics Association press tour presentation.

But wait there’s more! Glee is kinda 3 character short and they are seeking new talents to fill those up. There will be a nationwide casting search that will begin this February which will accept online submissions.

The auditions are open for professionals and amateurs between 16-26. Additional details will be announced soon.

The first season of Glee became huge in 2009 and even got four Golden Globe nominations including the Best Television Series, Musical or Comedy category.

UPDATE: Glee Season 2 premieres April 13.

UPDATE: All new episodes of Glee are continuation of season 1, so it will still be labeled as such. Glee Season 1 Episode 14 premieres April 13.

    It was still season 1 when it premiered April 13th. It was just on a 4 month hiatus.

    I wish they didn't go and get new characters it will be too hard to keep track of I like the original ones don't do any add on's I don't want to see new people as new originals we can get them as guest stars but why bring in new main characters they can't even develop story lines for mike and matt why add on new ones they should focus on the ones they have.
