Gunfire at Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady’s wedding
Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s second wedding went off with a bang —literally.
Tom and Gisele’s armed bodyguards opened fire on paparazzi when they were caught snapping pictures of the couple’s nuptials in Costa Rica on Saturday, the photographers claimed.
“At that moment, I thought was going to die,” lensman Rolando Aviles told the New York Post. “The bullet went between us, missing our heads. If the bullet had been a little more to the left or right, it would have killed one of us.”
The bullet shattered the SUV’s rear window, passed between the two men in the front seat and bounced off the windshield. According to local reports, no one was hurt but the car was messed up.
The celebrity couple exchanged vows in a short sunset ceremony at Gisele’s home in Costa Rica early Saturday evening, according to PEOPLE.
The 28-year-old Brazilian model “looked gorgeous” in a designer gown with a 10-foot veil, a source told the magazine, while the Patriots quarterback wore a gray suit and vest with white pants.
The couple legally became husband and wife Feb. 28 in a small ceremony Santa Monica, California.
