Jennifer Aniston Granted Restraining Order Against Alleged Stalker

Jennifer Aniston has been granted a temporary protective order against an alleged dangerous serial stalker who was recently arrested in possession of love notes for the “Friends” star.

A Santa Monica court granted the temporary restraining order against Jason R. Peyton pending the hearing on the petition on August 9. Peyton was taken into police custody last week after going around Sunset Boulevard for days in the hopes of finding Aniston. Police found Peyton in possession of a sharp object and duct tape, along with love letters for Aniston, when he was detained.

Peyton, who has been accused of stalking other celebrities, has allegedly claimed that he would not stop until he meets Aniston. The 24-year-old stalker reportedly said that he wants to marry Aniston. Peyton has been placed on involuntary psychiatric hold. The restraining order prohibits him from getting closer than 100 yards to Aniston’s home, vehicles, or places of work.
