Jennifer Hudson Now a Weight Watchers Spokesperson
Jennifer Hudson takes on a new role as a spokesperson for Weight Watchers.
The 28-year-old singer landed the job after she decided to “find a better lifestyle” that will make her fit to encourage a healthier lifestyle for son David, Jr. who was born seven months ago.
“After I had the baby, I made up my mind that I wanted to go in a different direction and find a better lifestyle…I feel like I’ve conquered the world,” she exclaimed in an interview with Good Morning America.
The singer and actress gained attention after finishing, though not rightly, as seventh place in the third season of American Idol. She won a Grammy Award (Best R&B Album) for her self-named album in 2009 making her one of the only three AI alumni to do so. She also won an Academy Award (Oscars), Screen Actors Guild Award, BAFTA Award and Golden Globe Awards on her supporting role as Effie White in the movie Dreamgirls. She won 25 other awards for that role.
She will also be starring in a new film with the role as Winnie Mandela, former wife of former South Africa President Nelson Mandela.
