Kate Hudson Welcomes Baby Boy
Kate Hudson has given birth to a baby boy, the actress’s first child with fiancé Matt Bellamy.
A rep for Hudson confirmed to Usweekly that the 32-year-old daughter of Academy Award winner Golden Hawn gave birth in Los Angeles on Saturday, July 9. The new baby is Hudson’s second child. The “Almost Famous” star also has a 7-year-old son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes.
Hudson and Bellamy, lead vocalist and guitarist of the band Muse, began dating in spring last year. They announced their engagement in April this year. Hudson, who refused to know the sex of the new baby ahead of time, had thought that she was having a baby girl. “It feels like a girl, but I don’t know. Ryder thinks it’s a girl,” Hudson said in an interview in January.
Hudson and Bellamy have yet to announce the name of their baby, but the actress had said that they already have a list of possible names for the new addition to their family.
