Levi Johnston says sorry to the Palins

It looks like Levi Johnston is turning over into a new leaf.

Bristol Palin‘s ex has finally extended the gold standard of extending olive branches as he retracted some of the negative statements he had hurled previously against the Palin clan and apologized for his actions.

In an interview with People, Levi was quoted to have said: “Last year, after Bristol and I have broke up, I was unhappy and a little angry. Unfortunately, against my better judgment, I publicly said things about the Palins that were not completely true.”

He said that he has already apologized to Sarah Palin and Todd. However, since the word war between her and Sarah was nothing short of a media frenzy, he had to also put out his apology for the world to hear.

Levi and Sarah had engaged in a battle of “he said, she said” after the break up with Palin’s daughter. There was the issue where Levi accused Sarah of always complaining about her job as governor of Alaska and how divorce was a common topic in the Palin household.  He had also made a story about how Sarah had called her son with Down Syndrome as “retarded.”

The former Vice Presidential candidate had hurled in return acidic remarks on how Levi posed for Playgirl and how he talked about sex on television.

Levi had credited his actions to “youthful indiscretion” and had publicly aired his intention to be able to gain back the trust of the Palin clan.
