Lindsay Lohan’s defense attorney quits
The legal drama of Lindsay Lohan continues.
Just hours after calling the 90-days of jail sentence bestowed by a California court “harsh”, Defense attorney Shawn Chapman Holley has resigned from her position as Lohan’s lawyer. Holley called it quits after issuing a statement that her client is ready to go to jail.
Lohan, while crying her eyes out, called for mercy and claimed that it was not clear to her that she had to strictly attend alcohol counseling classes. The actress was meted out with the consecutive 30-day terms due to her actions in not complying with her probation instructions.
According to People.com, L.A. Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore, a new lawyer for Lohan had called them up and introduced herself as Tiffany Feder-Cohen.
